Journey

 In our community-based research (CBR) project focused on the physical geography and geology of Bantay, Ilocos Sur, we embarked on a journey to explore the natural features and geological formations of the area. Through collaborative efforts with local residents and experts, we delved into understanding the landscape's unique characteristics.



Our research involved conducting surveys, interviews, and field observations to gather data and insights from the community. By actively involving community members in the research process, we aimed to foster a deeper understanding of how the region's physical geography and geology influence everyday life, agricultural practices, and environmental sustainability efforts.


Throughout our CBR project, we emphasized the importance of community engagement, mutual respect, and knowledge sharing. By working together, we sought to contribute to a better understanding of Bantay's natural environment and support initiatives for sustainable development and conservation efforts.

  Araw ng Kagitingan, also known as the Day of Valor, is a significant day in Philippine history that commemorates the bravery and sacrifice of Filipino fighters during World War II.
